An loader allows you to play the normally locked-out roms :)

Kawaks loader is a hacked version of kawaks which lets u play some of the new roms like kof2k2 or metal sug 4.
IMO, kawaks is better not because its popular like mame but because it runs smoother online than mame does. Mame seems to lag alot with high pings, but kawaks doesnt. keep in mind that i dont play online with full screen on.

if anyone is interested in trying kawaks, give it a try , and if you dont like it, then just stick with what is better for you.

In my experience with both mame and kawaks online in windowed mode, kawaks skips frames while mame slows down the game to compensate for lag.

Well it does also depend on your computer. But both emulators have their ups and downs. It all depends on the user.
