Help with conencing to netplay

Alright i have mame 0.62 and when i try to connect somewhere like fugu or anywhere else it jsut say connecting. It isnt just mame all other emulators i try does not work eithercan someone please help me? I know it's not the server cause this happens to all servers

Do you have a firewall? Kaillera does not work through firewalls*.

It sounds like the HTTP connections work (getting the server list, etc.) but the UDP connections aren't going though.

* Kaillera will work through a firewall if you open up port 27888 TCP, and basically, ALL UDP ports.
