There are no fixes and there will be no fixes for join-spam disconnecting you from a server. This is a bug in the Kaillera server, which has so far eluded attempts to fix. Of course, if the entire community goes up in arms towards its author...

I really would like to use your patcher but for some reason, it keeps saying that it can't find my close byte string. I even tried to hex it myself and couldn't find it. It would be awesome if you could help me out. Thx

You need an original EXE or it won't find CLOSE, because it won't be there.

http://www.geocities.com/c113481/ go here to dl the client i modded, its not much but its new, and it works, but only in hi resoloution setups, ppl who use 800/600 wont be able to use it. its better placed, more room for things, new buttons, and the famous own by force button, its no big deal but im proud. and i thank chriss for bringing us the original application, he owns all others, and he doesnt have to update it, it isnt like hes getting paid to do so, hes made some great stuff, little of which im familiar with, but i know kaillera was perfest untill the public got ahold of it. thank you .also, if you do like and use the dlll file, please put the link in your exit for a few days

i dont know what u means about ANTI-CLOSE
However, this mame works fine with fast connections and faster CPU!
(No desync detected)
I haven't time for other improvements

Sounds like it's just .64 with those hacked games added.

It should be added to Mame32k More! .83a as well and the guys running that site should update!


But I guess nobody cares as long as they can play the latest capcom and neogeo games right? Nobody wants all the updates and improvements to hundreds of other drivers out there in the time between .64/67 and .83a!
